Abandoned worksite, shoddy workmanship, and damage to the building I signed a contract with this company a year and a half ago for stonework on a gable end and the renovation of a shower. After the work started late, I went almost two months without being able to use my shower, which was ultimately installed with poor workmanship (the door was upside down, and water dripped directly onto the parquet floor), making it leaky and causing leaks that reach the ground floor. The stonework was even worse; they stripped my roof and left it unprotected. The work was supposed to be finished 10 months ago, and it's still not done. Now I have rainwater leaks in my roof structure, damaging the insulation and interior finishing panels. I've paid almost the entire amount for the work. They always have a good excuse for not showing up, citing weather conditions, breakdowns in their van, or illnesses affecting them. from his family. Above all, do not work with this company.
This review is based on our experience with this company. I hired them for a complete bathroom renovation. We were very disappointed by their lack of professionalism. First, the start of the project was postponed twice, and each time we were notified at the last minute. Then, the construction took longer than expected (admittedly, there was an unforeseen issue, extending the project to four weeks instead of two and a half). The contractor rarely showed up for entire days, if at all. Once the work was finally completed after a little over four weeks, there were several defects that the company had to return to fix, including poorly applied silicone sealant, which they had forgotten to apply, and which they eventually had to redo. The finishing touches left much to be desired: the tiles were poorly cut and filled with grout (see photo). The shower floor tiles move (we hear creaking noises) when we shower. Because it was glued with adhesive sealant, but not across its entire surface, and to this day, even though the contractor says it's a standard procedure and that it holds despite our weight, we remain skeptical. The window sills and side panels are not straight. The installation plans for the materials we supplied—the shower drain and shower column—were not followed. In the main photo, the painting and floor tiling of the room were not done by this company. If there are any changes, my opinion will obviously be updated.
Reposting a message I published a few months ago that Faco Renovation asked me to remove because the refunds were due. Part of it has arrived, but there's still a certain amount owed… “A living hell… This is what we've been going through since October 2024. After a month on the construction site, we've been hoping our house will progress ever since. Money given… work stopped without any explanation… and then, overnight, our phone numbers blocked? And that's not considered theft? A project that was supposed to last 3 months has dragged on for a year… living with family and our baby because our house is uninhabitable. All because of them… One example among many of their work: plastering walls without even having installed the electrical wiring. Our electrical system is still not up to code… And so much more!” They gave us money for a pellet stove, and now that money is gone from their account?! This case will go to court. Stay away... these people ruin your life without the slightest scruples (after several attempts at dialogue on our part). The financial and emotional damage is catastrophic.
